Is Fang Exchange affiliated with Florida A&M University?

Fang Exchange is a standalone organization. We are not directly governed by the university. However, we raise funds to support the student athletes at FAMU through membership subscriptions, one-time gifts, and brand partnerships under NIL.

Does Fang Exchange have an Advisory Board?

Yes, Fang Exchange has an Advisory Board that consists of individual experts who provide support and advice to enhance the day-to-day operations of the organization.

I have a specific student athlete that I would like to support. Is that possible?

Yes, you have the ability to support a specific sport or an athlete who is a representative of Fang Exchange.

How can corporations support and partner with Fang Exchange?

Corporations can support by partnering with Fang Exchange through brand partnerships and corporate sponsorships. As a corporate partner, you will receive marketing opportunities, access to special events, merchandise and more. Can I make a tax-deductible donation?

Fang Exchange has partnered with The Patrick Youth Development Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that gives organizations and supporters the opportunity to make tax deductible donations for their gift. What is the difference between a tax-deductible donation and a membership?

As a member of Fang Exchange, you unlock benefits such as exclusive merchandise, meet-and-greet opportunities, and events tailored to the FAMULY experience. These are “member-only” benefits. Tax-deductible donations do not unlock those benefits.

How will my dollars support the student athletes directly?

Your contributions will directly support the student athletes for their work with community and business partners. A small portion of your contributions will also go towards the operating costs of the Fang Exchange. The operating costs are kept to a minimum to contribute 90% of funds to the student athletes. Operating costs include website maintenance, accounting, legal, compliance, marketing, events, etc.

Am I able to stop my monthly subscription at any time? If so, what is the process?
