Fang Exchange was founded for the sole purpose of supporting Florida A & M University student athletes through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). The members and corporate partners of Fang Exchange directly contribute to name, image, and likeness by providing opportunities to do good in the community and partner with local and national brands. As a member of Fang Exchange, you are making a direct impact to the athletic teams by supporting the student athletes.

The Fang Exchange is a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) organization established to curate opportunities for Florida A&M University student athletes to develop and enhance their personal brands using their NIL. We serve as the bridge between Florida A&M University athletes and the fans, alumni, corporations, and charities looking to support and partner with them directly.

NIL, or name, image, and likeness, encompasses an athlete's personal brand that can be monetized. Specifically, it pertains to the practice that now allows college athletes to earn money through their own NIL rights. The NCAA made a significant change on July 1, 2021, by permitting athletes to earn income through their name, image, and likeness. Before this ruling, student athletes were not permitted to receive compensation for their Name, Image, and Likeness while participating in collegiate sports.
